Buying with confidence
DELIVERY, RETURNS & WARRANTY
Everything you need to know about getting your Talaria, sending something back, and the cover that comes with it. Buy direct from Talaria UK.
Delivery
Every Talaria leaves our Devon workshop. How it reaches you depends on where you are — and your cost is calculated at checkout, before you pay.
- Devon (EX, TQ, PL)
- Delivered by our own team from the Devon workshop at a flat local rate — uncrated, assembled and pre-delivery checked, typically within 2–4 business days.
- UK domestic
- Complete bikes travel as crated pallet freight with tail-lift delivery, typically 5–10 business days. Parts and accessories go out on a tracked parcel service, usually 2–3 business days.
- Highlands, islands & offshore
- Scottish Highlands, islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight and Scilly are all served. These areas carry a carrier surcharge and a longer lead time (bikes 7–12 business days, parts 3–5), shown in your estimate up front.
- International
- We ship worldwide. Orders to the EU, North America, Australia and New Zealand are estimated at checkout and move factory-direct by ocean or air freight, typically 15–40 business days. For any other destination we quote the lane by hand. Import duties and local taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.
- Your cost
- Enter your country and postcode at checkout and the figure appears in your order summary before payment. One freight charge per order — a second bike does not double it — and nothing is added afterwards.
- Receiving a bike
- Crated freight is booked in with you by the carrier and needs someone present to receive it. Inspect the crate and sign as damaged if the packaging is marked.
Returns & Cancellations
Consumer orders are covered by your UK distance-selling rights. If something is not right, we will put it right.
- Change of mind
- Unused items in their original, resaleable condition and packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Contact us first for a returns reference.
- Faulty or damaged
- Tell us within 48 hours of delivery if an item arrives damaged or faulty, with photos. We will arrange a repair, replacement or refund at no cost to you.
- Refunds
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method (bank transfer) once the returned item is received and inspected — usually within a few working days.
- Return shipping
- For change-of-mind returns you cover return carriage; for faulty items we cover it. Bikes must be returned in the condition supplied.
- Exclusions
- Registered or used vehicles, fitted/installed electrical parts, and made-to-order or customised items may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Warranty
New Talaria bikes are covered by a manufacturer-backed limited warranty, supported by our UK team and genuine parts.
- What is covered
- Defects in materials and manufacturing under normal use for the warranty period, including the motor, controller and frame as set out in your model documentation. Junior bikes carry a 12-month parts and 6-month battery warranty.
- Genuine parts
- Warranty is maintained by using genuine Talaria parts, available from our Parts Shop with model-specific fitment. Non-genuine parts may void cover.
